Corner dining seat - refurbishment
Finally completed the refurb of the 1960’s corner seat/corner dining nook for our front room:
Buying these are pretty impossible in the UK as it seems to be more of an American eating arrangement but I much prefer the more casual style and functionality especially as the corner seat has storage in both the back and seat.
I bought this from a guy who had had it in his games room, and prior to his purchase in 1999 it had been a built in part of a kitchen around the 1960’s. It’s a bespoke piece and it’s condition rings true to the original quality carpentry.
Refurbishment consisted of entire sand down, undercoat, top coat, replacing hardware (bolts, screws) and re-upholstery.
